Java applications are deployed on Openshift using Tomcat 7 (JBOSSEWS-2.0) Server. I am using Java application as my backend for my iphone apps.
When I upload profile picture or post image then it is inserting to MySQL database and also to the server in one folder called 'images'.
Support [url removed, login to view] is my profile image and it is inserting in database and in folder 'images/[url removed, login to view]' but when I am checking to URL: [url removed, login to view] then its showing 404 error
In short, Profile picture is not displaying as well as post image.
2 more addition:
1) User should get an email when anyone follow, or like or get private message.
For example, Give them a message like:
Hey User A
You got a private message from User B
Please check it in your app.
2) When a new user creating an account then he/should receive email saying:
"Hello User A
Thank you for joining our app

Hello. The most probable reason that you are not seeing the images is because Tomcat has been configured to prevent hotlinking. This stops direct linking of images and a query to them results in a 404. About the Daha Fazla
