I currently have a .SQL database that resides on an external hard drive. It is approximately 175GB in size and has about 175 million rows of data.
I need this database “connected” to a PC using dbForge Studio - [login to view URL]
This program already exists on the computer and the database on the external drive used to be connected to it (and queries could be successfully run). However, the ODBC driver service settings have been screwed up.
There are two potential paths forward:
1 – The current ODBC connectivity can be repaired
2 – The older ODBC and database settings can be deleted and then the database can be freshly imported into dbForge Studio
Which route to go will be up to you. However, the ultimate goal is the same… being able to make queries to the database file on the external hard drive. Please keep in mind the database size is very large.
My preference is to grant access via TeamViewer, fyi.
*** This is a time sensitive project. I would like someone who could be available at around 3 or 3pm New York time (-5 GMT). Please note, that's approximately 1.5-2hrs from the time I am posting this project. ***
Thank you for your assistance. Please include a brief description in your PM along with your bid so I can tell that you actually read the project description instead of using an auto-bidder to bid on the project. Just a sentence or two will do.
