Technology WebMatrix, .net 4.0, Composition Framework 4.1, Database SQLCE (also should work with SQL Express 2008 & SQL Server 2008 when we move from Prototype Stage to real stage).
A website to post resume:
- Public Area (Home, contact us, about, Post Resume)
- Admin Area (administer those required for posting resume lookup)
Simply go to:
[url removed, login to view]
Create an account so you have some idea what are the fields required.
Also try to check out the Google version with AJAX - I want to those lookup is done through AJAX just like Google version and everything must be able to fit in one page (no multi-paging) to enter a resume.
[url removed, login to view],%20Google%20Applications%20-%20Sydney&source=linkedin
This will allow education, positions, etc - the ones that normally take a long drop-down list to be lookup as you type the text field.
The ones that are not in the lookup will be stored in corresponding table for admin to be able to add that easily to the existing lookup table.
Public Area - look and feel is similar to ScriptLance website as this is a prototype site (horizontal top nav, login information, room for logo at the header), similar colour scheme.
Admin Area - requires users with certain role, many roles exists (must allow multi-level menu as there will be more things to administer later), horizontal menu changes from public menu to administrator menu (Lookup, Resumes, Jobs at the top level menu). Under Lookup, there will be individual Lookup administration e.g. to administer the qualification, education institution, sector/industry, job type, etc (see the fields in Careerone website as a guide).
The site looks good and
Lookup Administrations (search, add, edit, delete, approve - allow mass approval/deletion) for each lookup table
Post A resume Page
Ability to edit, delete or add resume manually.
There are 4-5 more milestones for this project. I will only reveal it to the winning team.
