I am looking for a developer that can write a .NET library that can capture video and sound from a DirectX or OpenGL game, and save it to an AVI file. The library should work similar to other game capture applications like Fraps, Taksi, or LiveStream. The library should safely hook in to the game, grab frames off the video BackBuffer, and encode them in to a video in real-time. Ideally, the library should be able to do the following:
-Given a window handle from a DirectX or OpenGL game, be able to start and stop capturing and encoding of video and sound from that game.
-Also, the capture should be able to include the microphone as an additional sound input.
-Be able to select which codec and compression settings to use in encoding.
-Be able to set things like FPS, volume, and resolution.
I will provide the exact interface and specifications for the library, you just need to implement it.
The ideal candidate would have strong background knowledge on game programming, dll-injection / hooking, and .NET. Candidate should be able to provide examples of past projects that are related, or be able to somehow prove he is knowledgeable enough to complete this project.
