I have already written a very small program that can get the html content from a google search result page.eg. ([url removed, login to view]
I just need help parsing this content into objects.
It should be basically the same as the GoogleApi. However for certain reasons i do not with to use the api.
Need a function that accepts a string (the html scraped from a google search result page) and returns a SearchResult object.
where SearchResult is a simple class with 4 fields all of which can be scraped from the page.
DateTime dateLastModified; // This only appears next to some results. This field should be null if there is no date present.
The arrays of SponsoredResultElement and ResultElement should be ordered so the first element in the array is the results that appears first so i can determine the position of each element.
SponsoredResultsElements MUST include both the ads that appear on the right hand side of the page and the two at the top.
I would prefer the code to be in C# however VB.NET if fine.

I have extracted objects off HTML scraped from search engines/yellow pages before, and stored the objects in a database. I believe I can do the same on Google.
