I want to have a .NET application that capture the video stream from a Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000.
Once launched, the application display the video from the camera into a window. The only control to the application are:
- The button on top of the Webcam to start/stop the video recording. Once the user presses the button, it starts recording the video stream to a file and a "REC" message is displayed on the screen. Once the user presses the button agains, it stops recording the video stream and a "STOP" message is displayed on the screen.
- The [X]/Exit button on the application Window to exit the application.
The configuration of the application should be done in an XML file.
The configuration parameters are the following ones:
- Video Size: 160x120 or 320x240 or 640x480
- File Length FL, in seconds (see below how this is used).
As the camera records the video stream to a file, it will create files of FL seconds. For example if FL = 60, the video stream is saves in a sequence of 60 seconds long AVI files.
Finally, the application logs all the files that are saved on the disk and when the user started/stoped the recording.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
