For the installation of unmanaged network switches, no modifications to the configuration of existing managed network devices will be required. While maintaining the current network state, I will install unmanaged network switches ensuring full compatibility with the existing office infrastructure. I will require the model, version and manufacturer name of the network switch to determine whether any specific configuration is necessary for integration into the existing network infrastructure. An unmanaged network switch supports only a single default VLAN and does not allow the creation of additional VLANs. So, all computers connected to this switch will operate within a single broadcast domain.
