I’m looking to streamline a repetitive step in my Siemens NX workflow. The goal is a set of automation scripts that plug directly into NX and focus specifically on design-optimization tasks—more precisely, automatically updating material assignments across selected parts and then refreshing the corresponding weight data for the assembly. Here’s what I need the finished solution to do: • Detect and change material properties on demand (or from a predefined table from Drawing) for multiple components in one run. • Recalculate each part’s mass and update the weight roll-up for the full assembly immediately after the material swap. • Update 5000 NX files, also with updated excel - processed.
