Hi, What are the Odoo version, PostgreSQL version, database size (GB), number of filestore files, and any custom modules or extensions that touch the DB (SQL-level changes, functions, triggers)? Do you have root/DB-admin access to both cloud and on-prem servers, public IPs or VPN between them, and any firewall/port restrictions (esp. port 5432)? What is the maximum acceptable downtime (RTO) and acceptable data-loss window (RPO)? Should we aim for zero-logical-downtime (near-zero) cutover using replication or are short scheduled outages acceptable? We will begin by assessing your current Odoo and PostgreSQL versions, database size, filestore structure, and custom modules to ensure compatibility. The on-premise server will be provisioned with a matching PostgreSQL and Odoo environment, secured via VPN or firewall rules. We will perform an initial full sync of both the database and filestore, then configure replication so changes from the cloud are continuously applied to the on-premise server. At the scheduled cutover, Odoo on the cloud server will be stopped briefly, final changes will be synced, replication will be promoted, and DNS or configuration updated to point users to the on-premise server.
