Intel RealSense Depth Camera - D435
I am looking for help developing a software application using an Intel Realsense Depth Camera D435 for object identification and tracking.
Imagine a table that has 3D shapes on it -- for our examples we will use a cylinder 2” in height and cube also 2” in height. Imagine those shapes standing on end so that looking down on the surface from overhead you would see the 2D shape of a circle and square.
Using the depth sensor - identify the location of the cube
Using the RGB camera - identify the color of the cube
Using the depth sensor - identify the location of the cylinder
Using the RGB camera - identify the color of the cylinder
Print center co-ordinates to the screen:
Yellow Cube: (X),(Y)
Orange Cylinder: (X),(Y)
Expand on Step 1 to account for multiple shapes - ex: 3 cylinders, 4 cubes - multiple colors. Count the number of each and print the results to the screen:
Yellow Cube: 4
Orange Cylinder: 2
Purple Cylinder: 1
