Residential Interior Painting

Job Title Residential Painter Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Residential Painter to join our team. The Residential Painter will prepare surfaces, apply paint and finishes, and complete interior and exterior painting projects for residential homes while maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities * Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming walls and other surfaces * Paint interior and exterior residential surfaces including walls, ceilings, trim, doors, siding, decks, and fences * Mix and match paint colors and finishes as needed * Protect furniture, floors, and surrounding areas using drop cloths, tape, and plastic coverings * Operate painting equipment such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns safely and effectively * Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas * Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met * Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members * Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times * Assist with minor drywall repairs and surface preparation when necessary Qualifications * Previous residential painting experience preferred * Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and time management skills * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or scaffolding * Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred * Ability to work in varying weather conditions for exterior projects Skills * Surface preparation * Brush, roller, and spray application * Color matching * Drywall patching and repair * Customer service * Teamwork and communication Work Environment * Residential homes and construction sites * Indoor and outdoor work * Full-time or part-time opportunities available * May require evening or weekend work depending on project schedules Pay & Benefits (Optional Section) * Competitive hourly pay based on experience * Overtime opportunities * Paid training * Tools and equipment provided * Health benefits and paid time off (if applicable)
