Dear sir,
As I understand your project, you want a forum leecher, aka a forum to blog converter. You call the software with the forum URL, it reads all the forum topics, and then produce a SQL file with one blog post per forum topic (first post as blog entry text, next posts as comment).
To create a universal forum to blog converter, indeed there isn't need for complex patterns: what is required is categories/subforums (e.g. "[login to view URL]" for phpBB) and topic URL patterns ("[login to view URL]" for phpBB).
As C# developer since 2001, I'm confident to deliver you this project with a simple to use UI, state-of-art clean and commented code.
Note:
______
To import content into Wordpress, SQL is not the ideal format, as we need to link comments to post id and post id is known only when saved if your blog have already content so except if you want to use it only to create new blogs or overwrite content, I recommend to use a Wordpress importer, as the cleanest solution.
If you prefer the pure SQL approach (e.g. to fully automate) but wants to keep or combine blog content, there is also a solution: adding a custom field to post to track our internal id and be able to get post id when it's time to insert comment this post (this will be automatically done by the SQL script generated by the forum leecher).
If you've any question concerning my bid, I'll be happy to answer you.
