I would like to create a database of data from a website called [url removed, login to view] . There is an XML interface for downloading data that should make this fairly straightforward. I would like to download all data that the XML data feed provides. This means that program will need to run basically all day and constantly query the website for new data.
This data would be stored in a SQL Server 2005 database, with appropriate tables created to properly organize the data for easy querying.
I am a competent programmer myself, so I know that this is a fairly straightforward project. I just don't have time to do it with my current job. My preference of programming languages is as follows: Java (most prefeferred), C#.NET, perl, any other language. I want clean code that is well organized and documented so I can edit it myself if I need to in the future.
I would like this project to be completed by December 21st at the latest.
