All these methods aren't working. Can you find me a fix?
ActiveState's (Perl 5.10 for Windows64) PPM repository doesn't have eBay::API so the easy GUI method doesn't work.
Whenever I run perl -MCPAN, I get the following message: "It looks like you don't have a C compiler and make utility installed..." Then, "It looks like the installation of dmake and MinGW has failed." (the problem does NOT involve my internet connection.)
When I open the tarball and run Perl [url removed, login to view], using the Windows command prompt, from inside the [url removed, login to view] directory, I get "It looks like you don't have a C compiler on your PATH, so you will not able to compile C or XS extension modules."
Running "ppm install MinGW" from the command prompt returns "ppm install failed: Can't find any package that provides MinGW".
When I run perl [url removed, login to view] from within a Cygwin bash window (with /usr/bin/perl being a pointer to /cygdrive/c/Perl64/bin/[url removed, login to view]), the first thing it returns is "Access is denied." "Set up gcc environment - " then proceeds with no error messages, perhaps because I have installed (or at least tried to install with no errors) MinGW using both the Cygwin installer and the downloadable installer from [url removed, login to view]). However, when "P A R S I N G", I get the error, "could not find [url removed, login to view] in C:/Perl64/site/lib/XML/SAX." Then Makefile Generation returns these warnings:
Warning: prerequisite Error 0.15 not found.
Warning: prerequisite LWP::Parallel 2.57 not found.
Warning: prerequisite Params::Validate 0.74 not found.
Warning: prerequisite XML::Tidy [url removed, login to view] not found.
Warning: prerequisite XML::Writer 0.6 not found.
Writing Makefile for eBay::API
So, if anyone can help me succeed in getting eBay::API installed, even if you just write me one sentence that gives me the right answer, it is worth at least the $30 minimum bid to me.
