42319 Simple Apache Rewriting

Hi, I require some rewrite rules to my Apache2 [url removed, login to view] file. 1.) I'm looking for all requests to [url removed, login to view] and everything below i.e [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view] to be rewritten/directed to [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view] Please note at the moment if you goto [url removed, login to view] this does work, I just wont anyone who enters just [url removed, login to view] to be automacially directed to [url removed, login to view] 2.) I'm using In-portal CMS system with Apache. The URL's created by In-Portal are pretty ugly (and search engine unfriendly) i.e [url removed, login to view]:m3-1-1-1-s:l3-1-1- as far as I can tell you probabaly could not automatically rewrite these, the above URL equals [url removed, login to view] What I'm looking for is to be able to supply three example URL from my site with what I'd like them to appear as (i.e friendly) and the winnig bidder could enter the rewrite rules for these in my Apache config file (i.e manual - [url removed, login to view]:m3-1-1-1-s:l3-1-1- equals [url removed, login to view] , so in the future I can enter manual rewrite rules myself. My plan is only to rewrite the folder URL as otherwise there would be hundreds/thousands of rules. Is this possible? I can supply the Apache config file as an attachment to the winnig bidder.
