I need to compile a spreadsheet of every Honda Certified Used Car dealer located in the USA which are located in the zip codes in the attached spreadsheet. See attachment. You can locate all the dealers here: [url removed, login to view] by entering the zip codes from the attached spreadsheet. You will enter the data for the dealers into the spreadsheet I have started called HondaProject.
Use google maps or some other program to calculate miles from zip code 10552 and minutes from 10552 to each dealer: [url removed, login to view]
To locate the miles and minutes, an example from row 1 in the excel file is, put 10552 into box A on the google maps page and copy & paste the address, city, state & zip from the excel file into box B
In the website column of the excel file, the website address needs to be in the form of a link so I can click on it and it will take me to the website.
To locate the website for each dealer, google the store name and typically you should have an exact match in one of the first few hits in google.
To compile a spreadsheet in Excel of all the cars matching the following search criteria from the websites gathered in Task 1.
I am only looking to gather the information below for Certified Used or Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. Different websites have it listed as different phrases, but the word Certified will always be in the phrase in their website or search engine used to search for the vehicles.
I want the program to gather the following information from the websites and input it into the Excel Spreadsheet from Task 1 and create a new worksheet:
Make (always going to be Honda)
Model (always going to contain Accord, but may have a suffix, like Sedan , or Sedan SE, or Sedan EX, etc.)
Price (if no price is listed, indicate that in spreadsheet)
Link to the car on their website
Miles to the dealer’s location from zip code 10552
Ratio of Price divided by Mileage
I should be able to run this program at anytime and the program will compile the data for Task 2 into a new Worksheet.
I am looking to spend less than $50 for this project.
