This is what I need:
I have a movie player that sometimes "bugs out" what happens is that two movies start playing at the same time. Causing the movie to look strange.
Details on this is:
•If i list the process the way it should look like is: look at attached file "[url removed, login to view]".
•If the bug occurs it looks similar to this: how-it-should-not-look-like.txt.
What we need is a a nice/smart perl script to to check the processes running on the machine - and find if there is more than one movie playing.
The only way to detect this is to get the movie name and compare if another exists.
Say the movie [url removed, login to view] is playing – only [url removed, login to view] should exists. If you find anyother [url removed, login to view] it should execute a bash file – otherwise cleanly exit.
What do now is that the same file can exists several times (depending on how many cpu cores the computer has).
But only one movie should play at a time – and the filenames are always different. But it's always a:*mp4, *mov, *.mpeg, *.mpg, *.avi (and could be casesensive and some capital letters).
Need something smart …
Let me know what you think..
