FREELANCE CONTENT CREATOR / PHOTOGRAPHER & VIDEOGRAPHER **Luxury Interiors, Materials & Design | London** About Fameed Khalique Fameed Khalique is a London-based luxury materials studio specialising in extraordinary surfaces, textiles and finishes for the world's leading interior designers, architects and luxury brands. From our London showroom, we present an extensive and highly curated collection spanning textiles, wallcoverings, decorative surfaces, semi-precious stone, leather, wood, metal, glass and highly bespoke artisan finishes. We are looking for a talented freelance content creator with strong photography and videography skills to work with us on an ongoing basis. The role involves translating the tactile, highly visual world of Fameed Khalique into compelling digital content that reflects our brand's sophisticated aesthetic. The Role This is not simply a photography or filming role. We are looking for someone with a strong visual eye who can understand our brand, our audience and the luxury interiors market. You will use this understanding to create a consistent stream of sophisticated content. You would work with our team from our London showroom on King's Road, capturing both planned and spontaneous content for use across Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, newsletters and direct client communications. Applicants must be London-based or able to travel to our showroom for in-person shoots. Ideally, you will have your own professional photography/videography equipment including lighting and audio gear. A key part of the role will be understanding how the same subject can be interpreted differently depending on the platform and audience. Content We Would Like to Create: - Showroom films capturing the space, atmosphere, materials and new displays. - Material and product films exploring details like textures, movement and craftsmanship. - Creative Director content featuring discussions on materials, projects or design ideas. - Short-form social video for Instagram Reels and other platforms. - Longer-form video suitable for YouTube or presentations. - Client-specific videos presenting materials or collections directly to designers/clients. - Photography of samples/materials including detailed product imagery and styled compositions. - Behind-the-scenes content showcasing sampling processes or bespoke development. - Project/installation content where opportunities arise. - New collection/supplier stories. - Event/presentation/showroom activity coverage. Creative Direction & Brand Understanding: We are particularly interested in finding someone who can do more than execute a predetermined shot list. You should be comfortable interpreting briefs creatively around mood, composition, pacing, editing, music/sound and storytelling. When producing video or photography content, you must understand the intended audience/platform and select an appropriate visual/musical direction accordingly. The Fameed Khalique aesthetic is sophisticated, tactile and editorial. Content should communicate craftsmanship, rarity and materiality without feeling overly commercial or generic. An understanding of luxury interiors/design/fashion/art would be particularly valuable. Maintaining consistent visual identity across all produced content is crucial to us. Wider Content Opportunities: For the right person, there is potential for this role to extend beyond photography/filmmaking into areas such as: - Social media content planning, - Copywriting/content writing, - Newsletter creation, - Email marketing, - Editorial storytelling, - Interviews, - YouTube/Pinterest/LinkedIn optimisation, - Developing stories around products/makers/materials/projects, and more based on your skills/interests. Deliverables: We envisage starting with a trial project/shoot at our London showroom within the next few weeks. This could develop into an ongoing relationship involving regular content creation sessions, generating: - Short vertical videos/Reels - Edited social media films - Longer-form video where appropriate - High-resolution photography, including detail and macro shots - Other assets tailored to different platforms and audiences as required - Where agreed in advance as part of the deliverables or pricing structure, we would also like access to raw footage and reusable assets to help us build a longer-term content library for the brand.
