What I need or require: I want to launch a multi-language online magazine so I need the entire software infrastructure for that. Among others the magazine will feature: - different group of blogs, articles - a forum - and an archive for earlier published contents as well. Registrated users can: - put comment on some content type - vote on polls - rate some content type - do some personalization - grab contact details from msn, gmail and yahoo and send template/custom e-mail invitation to friends - print or share content on sites like buzz, digg, etc. - subscribe / unsubscribe to newsletters (one of that is personalized) We will have some teaser box which will enlist content based on popularity and vote result. We will have a quite simplified editorial process with 3 roles. Uploaded content will be managed, tagged and categorized by editors and can be filtered (based on language, gender, etc.) and searched by users. (registrated users can't upload content yet). The system should support immediate and scheduled publication too. Comment and forum should have a common bad-word filter managed by the editors/moderators. Comment and forum should have a report abuse/spam/etc feature something similar just like on YouTube. Users identified as spammers/abusers will be banned automatically. Access can be granted back bay editors/moderators. Simple banner management is required. We will need some statistics, but it won't be too complicated. The infrastructure should be based on open source components. Member area design is fully covered as Photoshop files and I already have the functional description as well. You should have application design and implementation experience in similar projects. On CMS side I prefer Drupal, but you will need AJAX and some security hardening experience as well. Timeframe for delivery: 01.01.2009 would be fine but delivery date is flexible during negotiation phase. Of course there are some other features which are not mentioned here.
