As for you new project, could you please clarify some points.
1. We need to know what language your website is developed in. This will be just one or two pages on an existing site we have with no links to it, we will direct the customer here to upload their logo. The site is hosted on Linux with Apache Custom Web Server. It's through [url removed, login to view] if you need to look at their info.
2. Do you mean the order # text box and file browse field will be on the same page? Yes If possible. We'd like to make it just one page, then a thankyou/confirmation page. Users SHOULD NOT have access to the files afterward, this strictly a method for them to upload the logo for us to use on their order, they will not need the ability to download anything back from the site.
3. Do you need the logo file name to be hard-coded as "logo.*" or do you want to use actual file name. In other words, can there be a file name like [url removed, login to view] No, As long as the Order Number is appended to the beginning, the file name can be whatever the customer has named it.
4. Yes, I think it's quite possible to pass the information to the file upload page. What kind of information would you like to pass? If you paste this link in a browser "[url removed, login to view]" You'll get a google page with "kenneth" populated in the search box, we'd like to have a link like this where we could replace google with our upload site and kenneth with the order number, so the customer doesn't have to type it, but they can type it if they want to. It would just be easier to have that field already populated from the link and I think we can do this from within our ecommerce package by adding [url removed, login to view];orderid> (That is just an example) I hope that makes sense please let me know
