Simply I need to send an email through as standard email server that uses plain text and convert it to rich text. What I am trying to do is take a long string URL and replace it with a simple "Click Here" option. The email is being sent from a specific server and it does not offer any selection of rich formatting. Can anyone program within the email to tell the recipient to change format from plain to rich?
In discussions with some others and understanding better the constraints, the scope of work would be as follows;
Create a script that will use fields from a excel page to look up and generate a clickable URL . So as an example this is what I would want -
Fname / Lname / Address / City / etc. excel headings (more to be described in details but under 20 fields)
The above info would be used to produce a url that would look like http://mysite.com/rest/createlead.aspx?agent=USERNAME&FName=FNAME&LName=LNAME&address=ADDRESS
The link would populate using the information from the excel table.
A second version is needed in the form of a web form, from a webform submittal a URL is executed, so once i would fill in FNAME, LNAME, etc and hit submit, the next action would be it creates a url of the format "http://mysite.com/rest/createlead.aspx?agent=USERNAME&FName=FNAME&LName=LNAME&address=ADDRESS"
and it would execute the url.
Sorry for original description and change, so please review and rebid/verify with new scope.
