There is a CServer class, and a CClient class.
[login to view URL]:
CClient::Subscribe(){
CServer::Subscribe(this);
}
CServer.h:
static void Subscribe(CClient* pClient){
g_Client = pClient;
}
[login to view URL]:
#pragma comment(linker, "/SECTION:.shared,RWS")
#pragma data_seg(".shared")
void* g_Client = NULL;
#pragma data_seg()
BOOL CServer::CheckClient(){
CClient* pClient = (CClient*) g_Client;
if(!pClient)
return FALSE;
else
return TRUE;
}
stdafx.h:
extern void* g_Client;
When I create an instance of IClient in a VB6 client, I call Subscribe()
Then I leave the EXE running, so the server is still running. I then open up another instance of a different VB6 EXE client, and I create an instance of IServer. Then I call IServer::CheckClient... but the client has disappeared.
CServer needs to keep track of CClients.
