Task is to compile a single C program into a shared lib on the Solaris 8 platform. Yes that’s it, I have the source code and the header files and just need to compile it to a shared library for use by an application. I even have a makefile which has references to both Forte and GCC compiler flags. Very easy job for someone with a Solaris box. The Forte version is preferred over the GCC.
