Personal organiser

I've got the design and header files done in c++, just needs coding up. Simple console based c++ program that stores a list of people and their details in an array and also has various reminders like meetings and birthdays and things. The diary/calendar function will allow the user to record ‘events’ on the calendar. These ‘events’ could be a meeting, a phone call which needs to be made, a birthday reminder or a wake-up call. Some of these ‘events’, such as meetings, phone calls and birthdays, will relate to people in the address book and should link directly to these details, given the person’s nickname. The personal organiser needs functions which will allow the user to: • add a name to the address book • delete a name from the address book • find personal details given either a surname (or the first few letters of it) or a nickname • put a reminder for the person’s birthday into the diary/calendar* • list all the entries in the address book • add an ‘event’ to the diary • delete an event from the diary • list all events in the diary • ‘activate’ a specific event (given by date/time) in the diary By ‘activate’ an event it is intended that the software will demonstrate how the event should work in reality when the software is installed in the personal organiser. So a wake-up call will print ‘ring, ring, ring, time to get up’ on the screen, for example. Use your imagination here. (However, each different type of event will require a different activation procedure.) *Ideally a birthday reminder will be added automatically when a new contact is added to the address book, provided their birthday field is completed. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform win32 platform ## Deadline information Must be done by january 4th, this is urgent.
