I need a web specialist to write a realtime web-based conversion engine (preferably a php class, but web runnable c/c++ exe is ok too; if you know how to make this with flash mx itself, then go ahead with doing it this way) which will allow a user to submit a MPG, MPEG, AVI, or WMV type of file and convert it to a flash mx 2004 SWF format file.
The original file should NOT be stored on the server, but rather will be stored in the ram of the machine while the conversion process is taking place.
In addition, we should be able to specify the original filename and the final filename to the class.
Then, we will probably programmatically just wipe out the original file after the conversion process has been complete.
The conversion process should be robust. Programmer must keep in mind that file sizes will be under 15 megs and that the resolution of the output must be identical.
