480803 Fix a CMS Bug

Hello,

I need a bug fixed. I had paid for this bug to fixed, about 2 years ago, and I thought it was fixed, however it was not. The programmer on here changed one line of code in my CMS script from...

$where[] = 'category =~ %'.$single_cat.'%';

to

$where[] = "category REGEXP ^$single_cat\$|^$single_cat,|,$single_cat,|,$single_cat\$";

That seemed to have a fixed the problem. I thought it did atleast. But then after further checking, several months later...I still have the same problem. The script I used is from this site... [url removed, login to view]

The problem deals with displaying Categories and Subcategories. My site uses 200+ categories & subcategories, created through the CMS. The categories are given ID's like 1,2,33,200, etc etc, and each new category increases the ID number by 1.

The bug happens (I think) when a category or sub categories has similar numbers. For example Category ID # 16, will not show up in Category or Subcategory ID # 166. Notice, 16 is inside 166. The script can't tell the difference (I think). #12 will not show up in 122, etc etc. Also there might be other combo's that does not show up but sometimes it does show up even with similar ID numbers. It's a weird one that seems sorta random.
