Client has Open Cart ecommerce site but order notifications are not being emailed to owner and orders are ending up as Missing Orders, although they can be found by filtering the Orders results in admin.
This happens only with PayPal orders, which is the only gateway being used by the client. I don't believe the hosting is to blame, as I have checked.
All other payment options such as money order and COD work fine and email notifications are sent to the store owner and the orders can be found under Orders.
Shouldn't be a challenge for an experienced programmer.
Just to Clarify.
The store owner receives an email from PayPal after a customer has paid for the product in PayPal. That's not a problem. The IPN is working fine!
The problem is with Open Cart I believe and the admin section.
The Order paid for in PayPal ends up in the Missing Orders section of Open Cart admin. It must end up as a Completed Order.
The second issue is that a confirmation email is not being sent, see attached file. This is a major problem also. It is sent when you order with Cheque / Money Order but it needs to be sent when you pay by PayPal, and this must be a glitch with Open Cart not PayPal.
That's what need to be done. If you believe this is still a problem with PayPal's IPN then I think that's not correct. I believe the problem is with Open Cart.
