I need a desktop application that will lock a file (folder, pdf, video, audio file, etc.) until a registration code is supplied. Once the registration code is supplied, the file will open like usual. I have created a popup graphic (attached) that will request the registration key and offer the user the option to enter their email to get a registration code emailed to them.
When the user enters their email address and clicks the button to request their code, the script will send an email to an email linked to an aweber account. (For example [url removed, login to view]) The email should appear to be coming from the same email address that was typed into the form.
The end user will get an email from aweber saying click here to verify your email and get your registration code. When they do that, they'll be taken to a page like this: [url removed, login to view]
This page generates a random code 15 digits long, with a specific 5 digit code on the end, so it looks like a 20 digit long code, but the last 5 are the same each time.
If the end user then enters the code (any 15 digits with the 5 specific digits at the end) then the zip file will be opened like normal and they can open it every time in the future without problems.
This script will need to work on different zip files, for multiple users, so different aweber lists as well. Whoever uses the script can edit the aweber list email and the last 5 digits for the code on their server/computer.
I would need full rights to this project. If you decide to bid on this, please put the words 'I pay attention' at the top of your reply so I know you actually read the description.
If your English is not good or you have negative feedback, please do not bid on this project. If this project goes well, I will have more work for you on an ongoing basis.
Thank you for bidding! =]
