We have a stable moodle instalation:
[url removed, login to view]
log in as user(s):
password for both is: moodle
When you log in as a profesor, you will find some template courses (for testing purposes).
What we need is to build a course which will test our students and determine a "starting level" of their language skills.
What is needed:
To create a quiz bank (it should be 3 questions categories - you can see a sample in this installation) with subcategories for example:
Each subcategory contains 50 questions, different types.
In the course, there should be 3 quizzes - each one should be built from one category questions:
System should choose 10 questions from each subcategory:
10questions from sub1.1
10questions from sub1.2
10questions from sub1.3
10questions from sub1.4
10questions from sub1.5
(total: 50 questions)
10questions from sub2.1
10questions from sub2.2
10questions from sub2.3
(total: 30 questions)
10questions from sub3.1
10questions from sub3.2
(total: 20 questions)
SUM: 100 questions
Student starts this "course" form 1st quiz, and cannot go back - he can go only forward by pushing "next"/"submit" button. Each quiz have own time limit (20 minutes each) and have an "error limit". Error limit it is a number of unanswered or wrong answered questions. If error limit is reached, whole test is finished.
When Student will pass 1st quiz, he must be automaticly redirected do 2nd quiz. After 3rd quiz Student sees a general feedback "thank you" message.
When test (all 3 quizes) is finished or time/error limit is reached student sees a thank you message. Admin/Course owner will see a test result for each student.
Each student have only one attempt. Student cant see any feedback (was the answer right or wrong).
