I have an ADP client-server application, which allows me to run a number of reports. I now wish to place this application online. My assumption is that a new application will need to be built, but please advise on the best way to achieve this.
These reports contain trade data, and use the HS/SITC system for classifying data.
I require:
1. The existing 13 reports to be converted to an online format.
2. Users should be able to select input parameters (years, countries, etc) to generate these reports.
3. Ad-hoc reporting should be implemented.
4. Users can sign up for an account to access this system, but approval of the account should be carried out by an administrator.
[login to view URL] access to the reporting system
6. Forgotten password facility
7. Different levels of access to data depending on user rights. 8. Administrator should be able to assign data access rights.
9. The ability to export in xml, csv, pdf, excel, tiff, web archive formats
10. Save custom reports for later use.
<[login to view URL]> is an example of a website which implements this type of functionality.
