I have a unique CAD project calling for the documentation of a new humanitarian shelter/dwelling. The work requires one model and details drawn from the model. I would like to use AutoCAD, However, recommendations are accepted.

We have prototyped the dwellings and now require documentation activity in preparation for full production.
We are looking for somebody who can begin the project immediately and believe it to be about a 6 week project. The dwellings are not that complicated. Additionally we will require the signing of non disclosure agreement and a fixed bid.

Identify Drawing Platform for the project (Solidworks, AutoCAD…)
Ensure IADDIC Shelters, LLC has an appropriate viewer for review of documents.
Model is to be parametric. Need the ability to enter objects variable parameter change based upon input selections? (Length, width, height, number of widows, size of vent, etc…)
Drawings are to be in accordance to universally accepted drafting standards. ISO
Define Project Time Frame: 6 weeks
Define Project Start: Immediate
Existing AutoCAD 2002 model will be made available for informational purposes only. (Poor quality and extemporaneous “stuff?? is in the model)
The tolerances used will be +/- .06?? (1/16??) as long as tolerance stack up does not prevent manufacturability.
Dimensions are to be in both English and Metric
Of particular concern is the ability to design the “non traditional?? stretch fabric components. Architectural representation is shown here. <[url removed, login to view]> OR More specifically <[url removed, login to view]> because the felt is actually stretched.

The 3D model is to serve as the anchor to the shelter documentation project. From this model other tasks and objects will be created for other purposes (ex: rendering for graphic representation).
The model will contain material definitions of which their property sheets will be developed utilizing the currently selected materials used to build the shelters.
The model is to be parametric. The variables initially being required are: Shelter length, and width, number of windows, window sizes. Attributed that change according to parameter input include but are not limited to: Wall sizing and material requirements, number of vertical supports in the walls, cabling requirements, Roof sizing and material requirements, Roof supports sizing and material requirements.
Changes in the parametric model will be reflected on the Sub-assembly and detail documents listed below.
