We have several web stores that use mals-e shopping cart to collect the order and payment information. This information is then loaded into a program called shopping cart assistant by writeitonce.com. This program can create an import file to pass into pretty much any application. However we are unable to find a package that will do what we need, most of them seeming too over complicated for us. What we want to do is import all order information into an access database that we can then process the orders, print the invoices etc... We need to be able to process the orders in batches, print the invoices and labels for the selected records in that batch. We then need to be able to search all of the records by different criteria should a customer call or email about the status of their order. Things like manual order entry would be useful, but not necessary, although we do need to be able to alter order information in case a customer makes a last minute amendment, ike add or remove a product etc... The whole database must be able to be accessed via a network of less than 10 computers. It will also be required than more than one operator can process different orders simultaneously. This database will only be used by our company and will not be sold or given to any other company. Finally we will probably need to add further functionality to it as the business grows, so there is quite a good chance of ongoing development. All bids welcome, but we will favour UK bids of other countries, not to say we would not use a bidder from outside the UK though. Good luck!
