We are developing a set of tools using Ruby on Rails. We are looking for a developer to build a simple tool ping tool: Thesis: The idea behind Qwik Ping is very simple. Basically, we want our own ping server like ([url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view]). We would like to have an address that users could use in their Word Press? or Movable Type? blog CMS that would auto-ping our standard sites. Additionally, users could come to the site manually and enter their site so that it is updated. Construct: The ping server should automatically update various sites including the ones listed in pingomatic, pinggoat, feedshark and kping by entering the ping address in the users Word Press? or Movable Type? blog CMS. Also, user should be able to go to the frontpage of the service just like Pingomatic and manually enter the feed and select the sites to update. The site must follow the RSS Ping standard found here: [url removed, login to view] (the site should include the RSSPing logo).
