We're a publishing house aiming to set up a large interactive technology portal partly based on the magaznes we publish (PC Mag is an approximate example of the business) looking for skilled developers for a technology portal that we have the design, CMS description and DB schema already created for. In short - the portal has sections like mobile/photo&video/auto etc. that all have the same structure. There are multiple article types (structures), this needs to be considered in CMS. Also there are: a forum, blogs (internal, not public blogging), private ads and Ask an expert section (one may submit a question). The articles and other entities in the portal (like blog entries, forum topics) are related to a section-subcategory-bran-product structure (example: a news article may be related to Mobile-->Smartphones-->Nokia). The search has to be something similar to [url removed, login to view] search. There must be a banner management system and a detailed site (portal, section, item, banner) stats report. This is the general idea. Attached material has explanation in detail, please do take a look to understand what the proect scope and requirements are.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
This is open to suggestions. Current assumptions were: ASP.Net with C# or Vb.net MS SQL Server 2005 OR PHP + MySQL It has to, anyway, run correctly on most browsers and smartphones access is also planned (secondary).
