Web form to excel push.
Company ‘A’ find government grants to make trucks owned by large trucking companies more environmentally friendly by changing their engines. There are large grants available which make the companies more money - but the forms they fill in are quite complex. So Company 'A' source and fill in those grants applications on behalf of the large truck companies..
We have a project man tool for them which allows them to manage their database better and hopefully will help with their application process.
The applications are XLS format.
The PM (project man) system allows for a 'client' login.
We want to expand on that to essentially allow the client to fill in their application form via single web forms and have it populate the excel application - and flag a Company ‘A’ employee to review it before submission.
We would need some validation and the ability for a user to save stages for their progress so they can return.
I sent you an example form we need to create initially but it was hoped we could have a form builder which would allow the Company ‘A’ staff to build the forms themselves. If this is too much work - we could just build them form by form together. I'd need your opinion on that.
Open up the doc I gave you and take a look at some of the types of fields. They're pretty standard. The work really comes in the push to excel.
