You need to design a very basic Flash Multimedia Gaming application... it could be as simple as 3-4 animations which interact in such a way that it look like a game. A 2000 words report on that is also required.

For this part of the assignment you must write a 2000 word report that compares and contrasts existing applications, identifies best approaches, and design a small prototype mobile multimedia gaming application.
For the topic of your intended application it is entirely your choice but must be cleared with your tutor before you begin.
**What the report should contain**
i. For your chosen topic carry out your own research in order that you gain a strong knowledge in order to compare and contrast existing approaches.
As examples of topics you may compare and contrast -
- Operating system it works on
- Single / multiple user
- Other issues you feel as important

ii. Produce a design for the intended application. For this aspect it is suggested you use flow-charts and a storyboarding approach.

**_Part B ??" Implement the design of Part A into a Prototype Application_**
For this part of the assignment you must refer to your designs created in Part A and use these to create the application. The completed application will be assessed in a 10 minute demonstration.
i. The application must be created using MacroMedia Flash MX 2004.
ii. The application needs to show a good address of Flashes authoring features, such as ??"
- Media incorporation (inclusion of appropriate media)
- Interaction (have rich interaction)
- Navigation (incorporate appropriate navigation)
- Metaphor inclusion (use metaphor if appropriate)
- Incorporate some scripting
iii. On completion of your application ensure you function / user test it in order to remove scripting errors and usability problems.
