We have a Web-TV homepage ([url removed, login to view])with several videos in different categories. We are using the JW player ([url removed, login to view]).
We want to offer our users to create their own playlists by choosing among the publishes videos on our Web-TV station. We need a web interface, that meets the specifications listed below:
The web interface should have to screens
A login form
A form where the user can add or remove videos to and from the playlist. This form should show the videos name, a thumb, duration and when the video was created (this inform is available in our present DB)
A user must have a personal and reasonable secure login. A user must use a user name and a password to log in. A 'remember me' option must be present. User accounts are created by site admins – not by the user.
A user must be able to select any video in our database, and add the video to their own, personal playlist.
The user should be able to specify a sort order – that is... the order that the videos in the playlist will be played. If no sort order are specified, a default sort order based on the date each video was added to the playlist.
A user must be able to delete any video from their personal playlist as well.
The playlist itself can be stored as a file on the web server or in a record in the database.
All information regarding a user must be stored in a table in our DB. Information required are:
Last Modified Date
Path to Playlist / Info regarding playlist
When a video in the playlist ends , the next video in the playlist should be played automatic. The playlist should play all the videos in a loop.
The playlist is ment to be played on the users own homepage – not on our Web-TV. So the user must be given the embed code to use on the users own homepage.
It must be possible for any guest on the users homepage to override the order of the playlist by selecting any video on the playlist (like i.e. [url removed, login to view]). But the next video should still be played automatic.
The script must be made in PHP and MySQL.
