I need a script for a simple-game website.
The game idea is really simple:
[url removed, login to view] player sees a image
[url removed, login to view] player has to enter a correct answer in a textbox under the image
[url removed, login to view] player has the option to choose a “hint” in order to help with guessing
[url removed, login to view] players clicks “next” and a new image appears and so on…
[url removed, login to view] he types the answer for the last image, the player will have to connect with facebook in order to see the score. Here is a similar application, which uses radio buttons instead of text boxes for the answers: [url removed, login to view]
The score is calculated as follows:
200 points are awarded if the player guesses the correct answer
50 points are deducted if the player chooses a hint.
1 point is deducted for each second until the player clicks “next”.
The minimum number of points for any image is zero.
The final score is calculated by adding the points earned for each image.
In the back-end of the site I need to be able to add as many images I want and to set the correct answer for each image. The answer should not be case sensitive. I also need to be able to set a hint for each image.
About the code:
[url removed, login to view] has to be clean! With comments about what a certain piece of code does (mark the start and end of each piece of code: the images, the answer, the hint etc).
[url removed, login to view] needs to easily integrate with html
In order to apply you need to show me some of your previous work. Also be sure to include the word “banana” in your application otherwise I won't consider it.
