Thank you for reading.
I will try to make this brief.
I developed an idea for a sports-related website. I am paying a skilled programmer friend of mine to build the site. He has been working on it for several months and has completed the core of the site as well as the other major components of the site.
However, we are not exactly sure how to approach the section of the website that deals with providing automated content for all the teams on the website.
The site will start out with all the teams from the NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB. It will also start out with major teams from College Basketball and College football.
For each of these teams, automated content that we would like to provide will include: live scores, schedules, injuries, rosters, transactions, standings, and statistics (however, college football / college basetball do not have player transactions).
As an example, I will use the Detroit Pistons. Once a user goes to the Detroit Pistons' team info page, there will be links to a schedule page, a roster page, a standings page, etc. If a user clicks on the roster page, he or she will be directed to a new page with the roster information.
I attached a few simple sketches to help visualize what I am referring to.
The live scores for each team will be viewed on the team's homepage. For every team, I would like an automated live score for that team for every day (or 'no game played today' if that team doesn't play that day). I would also like the scores of all the teams in that team's league displayed on the same page.
For college football / college basketball teams, each team homepage will have that team's live score and scores for the top 25 teams in the leauge (it would be difficult to have scores for all the other teams in the leauge as there is simply too many teams).
Again, I am not looking for someone to build the website itself. I am simply looking to hire someone to complete this isolated section of the site.
I paid for the 'feature my project' posting, so members are able to view my contact information if they are logged in. If you are interested, please contact me and I will provide more specific details.
***I am even willing to pay someone a reduced amount for providing me with a solution to this issue. (for example, I'm not sure if there is sports information service that provides this information for a monthly fee and all that I need to do is contact a company like that ???)
I look forward to your response and a mutually beneficial arrangement!
