Google Maps based website

*** PLEASE PREPARE samples of Google Maps work you have done and send me via PM after you bid*** I need a website that is based almost entirely on Google Maps API: - Front End - Should be one page and will have a large Google Map in the center. On the map it will display all types of developments around the world which I will add (example: floods, earthquakes). Underneath the map should be updates, in a list with Title, Date, Content, etc. I should be able to update this as well. I WILL require graphics work for the site. Nothing outrageous, just something simple and elegant in which to put this map. - Back End - I need an administration panel where I can add particular events and situations to the map. For example, if there is a power outage, I want a creative way to show that there is a power outage in a specific area of a country. The specific "events" and "occurrences" that I want to display I already have in my mind (don't worry, they are not infinite, something like 5-8 different types of things I want to be able to display). I also want a way to add/edit/remove the "updates" which appear in list form under the map on the main page. *** Specifics of this project will be given to the winning bidder.
