BACKGROUND: I'm the owner of a small but growing Dedicated server and colocation company called Vault Networks, Inc. In about 3 month we will be 5 years old. We specialize in renting managed dedicated servers and colocation and therefore our customers tend to be more knowledgeable than the average hosting customer. Because of this, our new design requires sufistication, yet being simple and profressional to the eye. REQUIREMENTS: We are currently changing our business model to meet the needs of todays customer base and therefore we have decided to redevolop the entire website. Over the past year we've developed a custom web based portal that controls all aspects of our business functionalty and need to have this redeveloped to fit our new model. Along with the custom customer management system, we are using the ubersmith billing management system and would like to integrate SugarCRM. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: The candidate(s) must be selft motivated and complete their work on time and in a professional manner. In the past we've found that individuals that feel like they are helping to build and company, and getting compesated well for it, work best. These folks usually love to take our ideas and run with them and produce a product beyond our expecations. We've currently managed to take this website as far as we can internally. The role of this group or induvidual would be to revise the current development website ([login to view URL])'s graphically, integrate website into Joomla 1.5 or drupal. Most of the images need to be recreated in a professional manner, icons and smaller images need to be created to make the pages flow together, the sections need their color palellets expanded upon, etc.... The ideal candidate would have the following skillset: * Savvy in Dreamweaver, Photoshop, illustrator, and any other graphics programs. * Extensive knowledge of html, css * The understanding and basic fundementals of javascript, dhtml, php, etc.. * General knowledge of color palletts, content organization * Any search engine experience is a plus. * Understanding of Joomla, it's components, modules and other features. * Someone that takes pride in their work. * Willing to learn and not feeling bad if someone else jumps into a support ticket to clarify or correct responses you have given a customer. * Our website will be in English. Good spelling and grammatical skills are required.
