520118 Program files in Java

Program files for each of the following three programs:

[url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view]

At the beginning of ALL your programs put a comment box that includes the program name, your name, and a brief description of the program.

Example:

/***********************************************************************

Program Name: [url removed, login to view]

Programmers Name: Nana Liu

Program Description: This program will calculate the area, circumference and diameter of a circle

***********************************************************************/

How to submit your assignment:

The programs MUST have the same names as the assignment title (ShowEscapeSequences, Circle and PracticeArithmeticOperators).

Each Java source file (*.java) must include a corresponding class file (*.class) program as evidence of success.

In addition to the program source code files and byte code files, put all your program source code files and screen shots of your program output files into a word document.

You must use a Zipped Folder to send your Weekly Assignment to the DropBox. Do not send subfolders within your zipped folder. Place ALL of the .java and .class files for the week into the one zipped folder. The Zip folder should be named: YourLastName Week 1, and this Zip folder will contain all the weekly programming assignments.

Write a Java program named [url removed, login to view] that displays the following:

STEP 1: EscapeSequences (10 points)

I really like

CIS355A

“Business Application Programming with Lab using JAVA”

STEP 2: Circle (15 points)

Write an application called [url removed, login to view] that inputs from the user the radius of a circle as an integer and prints the circle's diameter, circumference and area. Use the GUI technique message dialog box shown in the week1 lecture.

Use the following formulas:

diameter = 2*radius

circumference = 2*[url removed, login to view]*radius

area = [url removed, login to view]*radius*radius

Use the predefined constant [url removed, login to view] for your calculation. This constant is more precise than the value 3.14159. Class Math is defined in the [url removed, login to view] package, so you do not need to import it.

Do not store the results of each calculation in a variable. Rather, add the result of each directly to a string that will be used to display the results.

STEP 3: PracticeArithmeticOperators (15 points)

Write an application called [url removed, login to view] that inputs one number consisting of five digits from the user, separates the number into its individual digits and prints the digits separated from one another by five spaces each. For example, if the user types in the number 49872, the program should print

4 9 8 7 2
