RINGTONE CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND WEBSITE

Basically I need the two things to be done, the first is to test and develop a programme to deliver content to CDMA on Bell Mobility's network as well as the two GSM carriers in Canada (Fido and Rogers). DELIVERY OF CONTENT 1) Test and develop *.gcd scripts to enable the successful delivery of content to CDMA standard phones on Bell Mobility’s network. The person should also be familiar with GSM, but it is very straight foward. This part is fairly time consuming it would require the programmer to be stationed in Canada for at least three month in total (during that time he should be able to cover section 1+2). The individual must learn quickly CDMA technology as it pertains to content delivery. In addition, he or she must be familiar or learn very quickly the workings of Openwave browser. I will provide for accomodation, arrange for ticket and supply a small allowance. 2) Test and develop a delivery programme that delivers graphics and sound content to users. Once the first part is finished this should be fairly straight foward. It should take only about three weeks at most to construct this portion of the programme. DATABASE AND WEBSITE PORTION 3) Develop a Database and Content Management System for the company’s sound and graphics content. I need to have the database done in MYSQL or POSTGRE SQL. I can come up with the basic table structure and how the whole thing fits together. This should take about a month to do. 4) Develop the socket between the company’s website and the content database. It also involves programming the e-commerce features for the website This should take about a month. The site should be dynamic and linked to the database. I have designer to work on the graphics. 5) In addition, develop a programme that generates reports of statistics from the database for management. This is also fairly straight foward I expect about a month. I can fill out the forms that are need to be developed. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done and complete documentation of all the task described above. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables) a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under Canadian Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). I predict it will take two intermediate or senior level programmers working three to four months to complete. ## Platform The platform that the programmes has to be Linux with the database using MYSQL and POSTGRESQL. The client side and interface programmes should be written in JAVA and be accessed from the web.
