Some have asked for additional information to help with bidding. Here are more specifics on what we are trying to achieve:
Basically, we’re looking for a designer/developer to help us create a unique and attractive Liferay theme for our intranet site (for staff and volunteers of Youth for Christ worldwide), and to improve layouts on each of the pages to make them more attractive, colorful and navigable.
Although there’s currently a lot at our current site (http://yfcworld.yfci.net) – feel free to create an account and have a look – we want to scale it down to 4 key pages, or sections:
1. Connect – a page with links to the user directory and message boards
2. Serve – a tool where any of our leaders can fill out a form that posts ministry opportunities/job listings, along with a response mechanism for future viewers to reply by filling out an application form that is emailed to the person who submitted the listing
3. Equip – a resource repository where users can share documents, photos, videos, audio clips and other useful resources/files
4. Pray – a prayer board on which users can post prayer requests and view requests that have been posted by others. Ideally, requests will post with User’s Name (clickable for email reply), Location (country), and expiration date (so that items automatically disappear on the date selected by the user)—in such a way that the viewer can sort the posts by any of these 3 categories. We would also like a way for users to be able to post follow up messages indicating how these prayers have been answered.
Does this sound like something you could do for us?
