Job type: Make additions to existing website (new sub-section).
Site details: Built in Drupal with multiple customised PHP contents.
The additions have to be applied to 4 websites of the same company (.com, .ca, .[login to view URL], .[login to view URL]) which are very similar but not identical.
The additions required for this project are divided in 4 tasks.
Task 1 Description: The website has a section that is currently divided in 3 sub-sections. A new sub-section must be added, making a total of 4 sub-sections here. Most of the content of the new sub-section will be based on the contents of the existing sub-sections, but new text and images will be provided.
Task 2 Description: One of the features of the new sub-section will be a small menu of 6 items. When you click on each of these menu items, the main JPEG image that appears in the center of the page will be swapped for another. This could be done via jQuery, but we're open to other languages.
Task 3 Description: The addition of the new sub-section will affect a pop-up PHP page called "prices". This will require the addition of 1 image and some more text. The style must be the same as the existing "prices" pages that open from the other 3 sub-sections.
Task 4 Description: All the changes must be made invisible (they cannot display on the existing websites), but a directory must be provided so that the client can review the changes. Once the changes have been approved, they must be applied to all 4 websites and made visible to the users.
The complete job needs to be completed, approved by the client and uploaded before the end of March 2012.
