Image Thumbnails Reduced Consistently (see my request at the bottom *)
I have webpages with a product listings and a detail page. In the justlisted page each product has a field call "image1a" image. These images are either:
1) 190px width x 127px height
2) 127px width x 190px height
I have these images reduced to a height of 80px. It doesn't look right because the 190x127 image looks much bigger than 127x190.
<td><div align="center"><img name="" src="<?php echo FixProtocol($row_rsJustListed['image1a']); ?>" alt="" height="80" /></div></td>
EXAMPLES: (see uploaded examples)
[url removed, login to view] (compare thumbnail on item 28527821 and 28527579...28527579 is too small)
[url removed, login to view] (compare thumbnail 1 and thumbnail 2,3,4.....2,3,4 is too small)
I have tried putting a percentage on the images but that doesn't seem to help. This doesn't work on Chrome & Safari browsers anyhow.
<td><div align="center"><img src="<?php echo FixProtocol($row_rsJustListed['image1a']); ?>" alt="" name="" width="85%" height="85%" /></div></td>

Closing this job....I have errored and now realize that my problem isn't resizing on the listing page but it's the image upload page that takes an image 800x1200 (width x height) and converts it to a 85x127 instead of the desired 127x190.

Hi, I'll extract the width & height of the image and depending on the dimension which is greater (width/height) will reduce it on a precentile basis (say 85%). The other dimension will get calculated automatically. Daha Fazla
