174756 Online calculator/page control

This is a two part project. For the first part: I need an interactive web calculator similar in concept to the one found here: [login to view URL] although there is no graphing required. Not sure if javascript or php is better - up to you. I will provide exact calculation details to the winning bidder. It is much simpler than the example above. Key to this calculator will be the presence of 4 sliders. Each slider will move from 0 to 1 in increments of 1. The visitor will manipulate the sliders and the calculation results will vary in real time and display on the web page. For the second part: I need to be able to use the resulting number from the interactive calculator in two ways. 1) Based on the final result of the calculation, a section of the web page on which the calculator exists will either appear or display a default section instead. In other words, if Result > 200, display section 1. Else, display default section. 2) If Section 1 is displayed, I need to be able to use the result number in the copy, and also mathematically manipulate that result number and display that. In other words, "If your savings are greater than $(result) than you should buy this." and "this means you make [$(result) * 12] more per month" Again, I will provide the exact copy, although I will want to be able to easily change the copy for both sections and manipulate the variable. All of this code will be installed on a web page hosted on a php/linux/cpanel server. I'd like the calculator to look a lot cooler than the one on the example web page.
