Began with a jQuery data grid viewer called Flexigrid (see: [url removed, login to view] ) that was originally set up to provide single column/term search capability, which pulls from MySQL database using json_encoding.
Had a jQuery programmer build in multiple column/term search capability, but he doesn't know PHP. There's a default php file that will need to be modified to accept and submit for search unlimited pairs of search parameters (column & term).
Example: This shows two search pairs, but could be any number of pairs
qtype (column selected) "name,sex"
query (term selected) "bill,boy"
The columns and terms will be separated by a comma with no space after the comma.
So, the first pair is name (col.) & bill (term) When doing multi-column search, php search will need to find results of first matching pair and then do search within that result set using the second pair, etc, etc, ie. narrowing down the results that match all the pairs.
The php will need to submit using json_encode.
I will need you to explain the php file to me, as well as the json part, so I can edit it when I add more columns, etc.
I expect this to be a very simple task to create a solution that allows this.
I expect you to provide finished php file, explain the file to me and what other existing lines are doing, so I have a basic understanding and verification on my final site that the code works (I will install), before I pay. Prefer you send me a Paypal request. Have screensharing capability, so discussion can happen rapidly.
