This is probably going to be a really easy assignment, but I suck at coding.
I have in Joomla a component called exsellproperty. (sandbox for now [url removed, login to view]). It is a property lister. I want to auto-generate Joomla K2 articles by using PHP to scrape information from each row and create new rows in jos_k2_items with the relevant information.
This I have done.
My problem is that the JA News FP module does not pick up on an image, and K2 does not store the images anywhere in jos_k2_items. Instead, it seems to be MD5-hashing a manually uploaded image and storing it in media/k2/items/cache.
Specifically, if the article ID is #2254, the image is the result of running md5("Image2247") and sticking a .jpg on it. For example:
md5("Image2254") = "fc4d225002b81b4e057481ed73fb55d0" so the image generated needs to be
media/k2/items/cache/[url removed, login to view]
This, I have also done.
And it still doesn't work.
I need you to figure out how to generate a K2 article, with an image, via script, and have the image appear in the JA News FP module. There HAS to be a way to do this, and there has to be someplace K2 knows to get its images from, but I can't find it.
My first attempt at this is attached; feel free to use it to base your code on. The markup it generates sticks the image in the article, but please remove that line; we need the image in K2 proper.
