We have a database of 3,000 high-quality paintings with images and descriptions that we are going to give away to charities.
We will feature 50 or so charities at a time for free, and we select which products they are allowed to sell from the roster. We plan on assigning around 10-50 paintings per charity, and each will promote their mini store in their own way. The charities have already been chosen and are waiting for the launch. They get to keep the profits, but they have to cover shipping costs from the location of the product. We need to know when a painting has been sold, for how much it sold, customer details. Basically, everything the Charity will learn from the order, we need to know about the order.
The system, at a minimum, must provide:
* Super Administrative screen
* Mini administrative screen that will allow the charity to set up their logo and introductory text, and payment gateway(s)
* The super administrator should also be able to create all this for them, as charities tend not to have IT staff to do this sort of thing, and we don't want them to spend any money.
* Invoices for customer, charity and administration
* Statistics for each individual store (pageviews, most viewed picture, etc.)
* The charities should be able to see stats for their products right on their mini screens.
Advise: Don't overthink it. It is detailed, but it is simple. Chronoforms or Jumi can be used to handle some of this stuff, specially on the Charity's side.
We ONLY have a 15 day time frame for delivered project, tops. If you can't deliver a working solution in about 7-9 days, with the rest for testing, then please don't bid. If there is further work to be done on the website after it is operational, you'll also be paid.
These charities must each get their own personalized mini-store with their OWN payment gateway (and some may need to use more than one, think Paypal + Google Checkout + Payflow at the same time, but most charities will be U.S. based anyway, and they all tend to use the more well-known gateways.
They are not allowed to pick and choose the paintings on display: this is very important, WE choose for THEM. We need to have one master administration panel where we can slide paintings over to each charity's product lineup.
Once a painting is sold, it was unique, and the product goes away and we (the main store administrators) are notified as to replace the sale with a new painting.
Each store must allow for simple individual templating. Think personalized logo/banner and not much more. This requirement may change slightly.
There is a need for sales reports, and proper invoicing + shipping labels. We also need to gather individual statistics on traffic to make sure the charities are making proper use of this opportunity.
Sample sites of previous similar work (multi stores) will be crucial to choosing a winner. The budget is very tight, please try to bid under $500 can be spent (I am pretty much giving away my fee), and there will be NO escrow payments. We pay promptly when the job is done as agreed.
Your design should make use of standard Joomla classes so we can apply a proper template later on.
I will provide assistance as a web designer myself. I prefer to work with individuals with a proven portfolio. If you are good... I have plenty of work and could use some assistants.
I really would like this to be done with JOOMLA as the wrapper -- but the door is open to all e-commerce solutions that will get the job done in the next two weeks. Think Mighty Commerce as a strong contender (you can start with a free renewable license for the test site, and we'll buy one when it's time to go live) or one of the newer store offerings. Virtuemart may be overkill for this.
We provide the hosting on a DirectAdmin server for the test site on empty .com or .net domain with full up to date php and mysql/phpmyadmin. There will be no SSH access provided under any circumstances.
Finally, if your bid does not contain the word benefit somewhere, I will likely hide it. I will respond promptly to PMB or Clarification Board messages.
